Vote to pass and amend a bill that prohibits certain motor vehicle modifications

Highlights:

• Prohibits any person from driving a motor vehicle on the highways of the state if, by alteration of the suspension, frame, or chassis, the height of the front fender is raised or lowered four or more inches above or below the height of the rear fender (Sec. 1).

• Specifies a person who violates the provisions is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction:

• Shall be fined $100, for the first offense;

• Be fined $200, for the second offense; or

• Be fined $300 and have their license suspended for 12 months, on the third offense.
