Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that establishes abortion restrictions contingent on the overruling of Roe v. Wade

Highlights:

• Authorizes the state attorney general to review any final decisions by the U.S. Supreme Court relating to Roe v. Wade or other abortion related topics, and within 30 days, report their finding to joint judiciary commttee and Governor (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits any abortion procedure from taking place after a fetus reaches viability, and prohibits any legislative funds from being used to pay for any abortions except under the following circumstances (Sec. 1):

• In cases necessary to preserve the life of the pregnant individual;

• To avert any substantial or irreversible physical impairment of major bodily function, not including any psychological or emotional conditions; or

• The pregnancy is the result of incest or sexual assault.

• Specifies that this act shall take effect immediately upon passage (Sec. 3).
