Title: Prohibits Vaccine Requirements for COVID-19

A vote to pass a bill that prohibits COVID-19 vaccine requirements.

Highlights:

 

  • Prohibits business’s operating in the state from instituting COVID-19 vaccination requirements for employment, or denying or refusing to provide any service, product, admission to a venue, or transportation to an individual because they have not received a COVID-19 vaccination (Sec. 1, Ch. 5).

  • Prohibits any state, county, or local government official from requiring an individual receive a COVID-19 vaccination as a condition for the following, including, but not limited to (Sec. 1, Ch. 5):

    • Receipt of any government benefit;

    • Receipt of any government service;

    • Receipt of any government-issued license or permit;

    • Entrance into any public building;

    • Use of public transportation; or

    • A term of employment.

  • Prohibits any state, county, or local government official from offering a dierrent salary, hourly wage, or other ongoing compensation or benefits to an employee based on whether they have received a COVID-19 vaccination (Sec. 1, Ch. 5).
