Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funds for the Department of Defense for the 2005 fiscal year.
- Appropriates funding for the Army, Navy and Marine Corps, and Air Force for aircraft, missiles, weapons and tracked combat vehicles, ammunition, shipbuilding, conversion, and other supplies.
- Requires the Secretary to guarantee that the distribution of supplies acquired using funds authorized under this title to operational units involved in Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom be made without regard to the status of the units as active, Guard, or reserve components (Sec. 115).
- Allocates appropriations for improved pay, benefits, living and working facilities (Secs. 601-663).
