Title: Requires a Local Government to Obtain Voter Approval Before Providing Internet Access
Vote to pass a bill that requires a local government to obtain voter approval and meet other requirements before providing internet access, with advanced service, to the public.
Authorizes students, teachers, and staff members of the district, the board of cooperative services, or the members of districts of the board of cooperative services, to access school-owned and operate networks to facilitate remote working (Sec 1).
Specifies that this act is necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, or safety (Sec 2).
