Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the state education agency from requiring fee payment from educational disadvantaged students if they establish a broadband internet access plan for public school students.
Prohibits the state education agency from requiring fee payment from educational disadvantaged students if they establish a broadband internet access plan for public school students (Sec. 2).
Specifies that this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage if it receives two-thirds majority approval from both the state senate and state house of representatives (Sec. 3).
Specifies that if this act does not receive the aforementioned two-thirds majority vote it shall take effect September 1, 2021 (Sec. 3).
