  • Requires that members of the wolf management advisory council all be residents (yoopers) of the upper peninsula (Sec. 43540e).

  • Specifies that if the department determines through winter track surveys and genetic testing that wolves are present in the lower peninsula than the majority of the members of the council shall be residents of the upper peninsula (Sec. 43540e).
