Vote to pass a bill that requires feminine hygiene products be available in both prisons and public schools.

Highlights:

• Defines “feminine hygiene products” to include tampons and sanitary napkins (Sec. 1).

• Establishes that by the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year, all public schools maintaining any combination of classes from grade 5 through grade 12 are to make feminine hygiene products available in the school as follows (Sec. 1):

• Feminine products will be available in all gender-neutral bathrooms and any bathroom designated for females; and

• Feminine products shall be available at no cost to students.

• Specifies that this act will take effect upon passage (Sec. 2).
