Vote to concur with house amendments and pass a bill that rescinds a $300-a-week boost to unemployment benefits in the state.
Rescinds the $300 per week bonus to state unemployment benefits from the federal pandemic unemployment compensation (FPUC) agreement in the CARES act, lasting through September 6, 2021 (Sec. 1a & 1d).
Prohibits the Department of Commerce from administering payments under the FPUC program after the effective date of this bill (Sec. 1b).
Specifies that this bill shall be enacted retroactively to affect taxable years beginning January 1, 2020 (Sec. 6).

Vote to pass a bill that increases Increases access to sporting facilities in public and nonpublic high schools.
Increases access to outdoor sporting facilities in public and nonpublic high schools (Sec. 1).
Requires the board of education to make all rules and regulations necessary for the enforcement of this act (Sec. 1).
Specifies that for the 2020-21 school year all public and private highschools activities shall limit the number of spectators to (Sec. 1):
no more than 40 percent for outdoor activities; and
for indoor activities, 7 individuals per 1,000 square feet.
Specifies that the term “spectator” shall not include athletes or employees of a public or nonpublic high school, entertainers, or staff providing support for the event (Sec. 2).
Specifies that nothing in this act shall prohibit a school or governing body from enforcing stricter access to sporting events (Sec. 3).
