Vote to pass a bill that extends the one-time grant payments made under the Golden State Grant Program to individuals who are eligible for the payment because they are recipients of SSI/SSP benefits as a one-time increase of $600 to the individual's SSP benefits.

Highlights:

• Extends the one-time grant payments with an increase of $600 in social security payment (SSP) benefits to eligible recipients under the Golden State Grant Program to last through the end of the state of emergency declared on March 4, 2020 (Sec. 2).

• Exempts the aforementioned payment increase from provisions requiring the Department of Social Services contract with the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services to make the payments to ssp recipients (Sec. 2).

• Authorizes individuals receiving public social services to notify a public social services recipient of their potential eligibility for other benefits and services not administered by the Department of Social Services (Sec. 4).
