Vote to pass a bill that establishes pre-emptive measures against restrictions to the second amendment.

Highlights:

• Prohibits any public entity from regulating or attempting to regulate the sale, use, or possession of firearms, ammunition, ammunition components, knives, firearm components, firearm accessories, or firearm supplies on any property owned, by the state, including school district or school administrative units, unless specifically authorized by statute (Sec. 1).

• Authorizes a superior court having jurisdiction to declare an aforementioned regulation, ordinance, or rule invalid and unenforceable (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that if a court determines that a violation was inadvertent or the result of simple negligence then a civil fine of $500 will be imposed against the public entity that enacted the aforementioned ordinance (Sec. 1).
