Vote to pass a bill that establishes that individuals 17 years old and older can vote in the upcoming primary election.

Highlights:

• Authorizes individuals whose birthdays fall between a primary election and a general election to vote at 17 in the election immediately preceding the general election, provided that they will be 18 by the general election (Sec. 2).

• Requires each state agency that deals with voter registration to provide individuals that are older than 18 or who are 17 and will be 18 by the next general election an affidavit form for voter registration (Sec. 5).
