Vote to pass a bill that reduces access to pills that induce abortion.
Requires physicians to examine a woman before administering an abortion-inducing drug and do the following (Sec. 1):
Independently verify that there is an intrauterine pregnancy;
Determine the woman’s blood type; and
Document in the woman’s medical chart the gestational age of the fetus and intrauterine location of the pregnancy and determination of whether the woman received treatment for Rh negativity.
Prohibits manufacturers, suppliers and physicians from distributing an abortion inducing drugs via courier, delivery or mail (Sec. 1).
Requires physicians to schedule a follow-up appointment with the patient within 7 to 14 days from prescribing the abortion-inducing pill and requires that they document all efforts to ensure that the patient shows up for the follow-up appointment (Sec. 1).
