  • Authorizes the department of family services to increase license fees for each health care facility to the following amounts, not to exceed $500, including, but not limited to (Sec. 1):

    • $250 for adult daycare facilities and adult foster care homes;

    • $500 for ambulatory surgical centers;

    • $500 for birthing centers;

    • $500 for boarding homes;

    • $500 for critical access hospitals;

    • $500 for renal dialysis centers;

    • $500 for freestanding diagnostic testing and emergency centers;

    • $150 for home health agencies;

    • $250 for hospice facilities;

    • $250 for intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities;

    • $250 for medical assistance facilities; and

    • $500 for rehabilitation facilities and hospitals.

  • Authorizes the department of family services to increase the license fees for assisted living and nursing facilities to the following amounts, including (Sec. 1):

    • $250 for assisted living facilities with a bed capacity of no more than 25;

    • $500 for assisted living facilities with a bed capacity of no more than 50; and

    • $1,000 for assisted living facilities with a bed capacity of over 50.

  • Authorizes the department of human services the license fees for the hospitals and psychiatric hospitals to $1,000 (Sec. 1).

  • Specifies that if a licensed healthcare facility changes its name, location, or the number of beds, the facility shall be required to pay $250 for a revised license (Sec. 1).

  • Authorizes the Department of Agriculture to increase food license and annual renewal fees to the following amounts, including (Sec. 1):

    • $200 for a food license;

    • $100 for a food license renewal; and

    • $50 for a temporary food establishment license.

  • Authorizes the department of environment to charge the minimum permit and review fees, including $75 per hour for application review, as well as (Sec. 1):

    • $500 for new application fees;

    • $150 for facility relocation fees authorized to use self issuance permits; and

    • $300 for facility relocation fees not authorized to use self-issuance permits.

  • Increases the fee for mining permits from $100 to $200 plus $10 for each acre in the requested permit not to exceed $2,000 (Sec. 1).

  • Increases the fee to mine for minerals from $25 to $150 (Sec. 1).

  • Increases the license fee for mineral exploration via bulldozing from $25 to $250 (Sec. 1).

  • Increases the tank installment and modification fee from $250 to $500 (Sec. 1).

  • Requires the Department of Agriculture to charge the following minimum fees under this law (Sec. 35-11-211.j):
