Vote to pass a bill that rescinds the requirement of a permit for wetland activity in a state-regulated wetland.
Repeals the definitions of the different classes of wetlands (Sec. 1).
Repeals compensatory mitigation techniques to compensate for the loss of wetlands as a result of authorized wetland activity (Sec. 3).
Repeals all of the classifications of exempt isolated wetlands (Sec. 4).
Reduces the permits required for performing activities in state-regulated wetlands by simply requiring a water quality certification from the department of environmental management (Sec. 13).
