Vote to pass a bill that prohibits vaping in motor vehicles when a child is present.

Highlights:

• Prohibits the operator or any passenger in a motor vehicle from smoking cigarettes, pipes, cigars, or any vaping devices when a child who is required to be restrained in a rear-facing child safety seat, a forward-facing child safety seat, a booster seat, or a safety belt is present in such vehicle, regardless of whether the windows are down (Sec. 1).

• Defines “smoking” as inhaling, exhaling, burning, or carrying any activated aerosol, vapor, or any lighted cigarette, cigar, pipe, weed, plant, or other combustible substance in any manner (Sec. 1).
