  • Prohibits healthcare providers from reducing a person’s health coverage related to COVID-19 testing (Sec. A, Sec. 1).

  • Authorizes the Department of Social Services to seek a waiver of the Institutions for Mental Disease exclusion for comprehensive substance treatment (Sec. A, Sec. 2).

  • Establishes that Section 1 of this bill takes effect immediately upon passage (Sec. C).
