Title: Authorizes Free COVID-19 Testing
Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that authorizes free COVID-19 testing.
Requires emergency medical services to not comply with any do-not-resuscitate orders from outside Missouri if the patient expressed to be resuscitated (Sec. A, 190.612).
Requires medical marijuana employees to submit their fingerprints to the Missouri State Highway Patrol to undergo a criminal background check (Sec. A, Sec. 195.815).
Authorizes physician staff to be considered staff on an ambulance (Sec. A, Sec. 190.094).
Prohibits vaping in elementary schools, secondary schools or school buses (Sec. A, Sec. 190.1005).
Requires training in using automated external defibrillators in any cardiopulmonary resuscitation training (Sec. A, Sec. 190.1005).
Authorizes any Missouri resident to receive a free COVID-19 test if their health provider recommends they get one (Sec. A, Sec. 1).
Authorizes the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to use federal funds to pay for the test up to $150 (Sec. A, Sec. 1).
Prohibits healthcare providers from reducing a person’s health coverage related to COVID-19 testing (Sec. A, Sec. 1).
Authorizes the Department of Social Services to seek a waiver of the Institutions for Mental Disease exclusion for comprehensive substance treatment (Sec. A, Sec. 2).
Establishes that Section 1 of this bill takes effect immediately upon passage (Sec. C).
