Title: Authorizes Voting by Mail in Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

Vote to concur with senate amendments and pass a bill that authorizes the expediting of the absentee ballot process in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Highlights:

 

  • Requires the secretary of state to print absentee ballots for as many registered voters possible in New Hampshire (Sec. 3). 

  • Requires all New Hampshire towns to provide for absentee voting (Sec. 8).

  • Authorizes voters to register to vote on the secretary of state’s website, beginning January 1, 2021 (Sec. 15).
