Title: Prohibits State Officials From Changing the Time and Place of an Election
Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that prohibits state officials from changing the time or place of an election or from closing places of worship.
Prohibits any public official from causing an election to be conducted other than in the time, place, and manner as previously prescribed by the Revised Code of Ohio (Sec. 1).
Prohibits any public official from issuing an order to close all places of worship in the state or in a geographic area of the state (Sec. 1).
Defines a “public official” as any elected or appointed officer, employee, or agent of the state or any political subdivision, board, commission, bureau, or other public body established by law (Sec. 1).
