Title: Establishes Deadlines for Governor's Stay At Home Orders

Vote to concur with house amendments and pass a bill that establishes deadlines for the governor's stay at home orders.

Highlights:

    • Ensure adherence to social distancing and mitigation measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including the use of face coverings and individuals remaining at least 6 feet from people;

    • Adopt heightened standards of facility cleaning and disinfection to limit employee and public exposure to COVID-19, as well as protocols to clean and disinfect in the event of a positive COVID-19 case in the workplace; 

    • Provide personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees appropriate for the work activity being performed, subject to the availability of PPE;

    • Adopt policies to limit the sharing of equipment and tools between individuals; 

    • Promote remote work for employees to the fullest extent practicable; and

    • Adopt policies to prevent workers from entering the premises if they display respiratory symptoms or have had contact with a person with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19.

  • Defines “places of public accommodation” as a business, or an educational, refreshment, entertainment, recreation, health, or transportation facility, or institution of any kind whose goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages or accommodations are extended, offered, or sold to the public, and include private clubs such as sporting or dining clubs (Sec. 3).
