  • Specifies that a claimant who filed a new claim on or after January 1, 2020, and before the effective date of this act will be eligible for a maximum of 26 weeks of benefits including the number of weeks of benefits received after January 1, 2020, and before the effective date of this act (Sec. 1).

  • Authorizes a claimant to become eligible to receive compensation for the waiting period of one week upon completion of 3 weeks of unemployment consecutive to such waiting period (Sec. 2).
