Vote to pass a bill that requires all public and charter schools with students in grades 6-12 to provide free feminine hygiene products in 50 percent of bathrooms.
Requires all public and charter schools in grades 6-12 to provide free feminine hygiene products in a minimum of 50 percent of bathrooms used by students who can have a menstrual cycle by the 2020-2021 school year (Sec. 1).
Requires that schools publish the locations of the bathrooms where these products are provided on their website and post in the school’s common areas (Sec. 1).
Defines “feminine hygiene products” as tampons and sanitary napkins, for use in connection with the menstrual cycle (Sec. 1).
