Vote to concur with house amendments and pass a bill that amends online voter registration rules.

Highlights:

• Authorizes those who qualify to participate in the election the opportunity to complete an online voter registration form from the Secretary of State’s website on or before the 21st day preceding the election (Sec. 2).

• Requires completed online registration forms to be electronically transferred into the statewide voter registration database (Sec. 3).

• Requires the statewide voter registration system to include a digitized signature (Sec. 4).

• Requires commissioners who receive registration forms of those who are registering or re-registering to enter the information from the electronically (Sec. 2).
