Highlights:

 

  • Specifies that in the case of revocation of parole and the return of the parolee to custody, the future parole eligibility date cannot be more than 9 months from the date of the parolee’s return to custody when the parole revocation is due to (Sec. 1):

    • Failure to report to the appropriate parole officer; 

    • Failure to comply with any special condition of parole; or

    • Failure to refrain from the use of a controlled dangerous substance or controlled dangerous substance analog if a 2-member parole board panel determines that the inmate is addicted to that controlled dangerous substance or analog.
