Highlights:

• Prohibits a local government from requiring a notice, application, approval, permit, fee, or mitigation for the pruning, trimming, or removal of a tree on residential property if the residential property owner obtains documentation from a certified arborist that the tree presents a danger to their livelihood or property (Sec. 1).

• Prohibits a local government from requiring a property owner to replant a tree that was pruned, trimmed, or removed in accordance with this act (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that this act does not affect the authority of the delegated mangrove protections (Sec. 1).
