Vote Smart's Synopsis:

Vote to pass a bill that repeals the criminalization of sex outside of marriage.

Highlights:

• Requires an individual who solemnizes a marriage to return the license to the clerk of the county that issues the license within 30 days after solemnizing the marriage, and specifies that failing to return the license will result in an infraction (Sec. 1).

• Expands list of illegally manufactured controlled substances to include tetrahydrocannabinol and counterfeit opioids (Sec. 3).

• Specifies that an individual who electronically publishes, posts, or otherwise discloses personal identifying information of another individual in a public online site or forum with the intent to abuse, threaten, or disrupt the other individual’s electronic communication and without their permission, is guilty of electronic communication harassment (Sec. 7).

• Repeals the classification of voluntary sexual intercouse by an unmarried person with another as a class B misdemeanor (Sec. 10).
