Title: Repeals the Tax on Feminine Hygiene Products
Vote to concur with house amendments and pass a bill that repeals the tax on feminine hygiene products and provides a tax credit for teachers who buy school supplies.
Repeals taxes on the sale of feminine hygiene products (Sec. 1).
Define “feminine hygiene products” as tampons, panty liners, menstrual cups, sanitary napkins, and other similar tangible personal property designed for feminine hygiene in connection with the human menstrual cycle, but does not include grooms and hygiene products (Sec. 1).
Defines “grooming and hygiene products” as soaps and cleaning solutions, shampoo, toothpaste, mouthwash, antiperspirants, and suntan lotions (Sec. 1).
