  • Requires ballots present taxes in terms of dollars for each $100,000 of fair market value (Sec. 133.18).

  • Requires the auditor to calculate and certify the amount the levy is estimated to collect for each tax year it is levied, rounded to the nearest dollar (Sec. 133.18).

  • Requires a ballot to express the levy’s estimate annual collections and the rate to be expressed numerically in mills for each 1 dollar of taxable dollars of fair market value for taxes on property (Sec. 306.32).

  • Prohibits any portion of a ballot question proposing to levy a property tax in excess of the ten-mill limitation from being printed in boldface type or in a font size that is different from the font size of other text in the ballot question (Sec. 3505.06).

  • Specifies that this act applies to elections held on or after the 100th day after the effective date of this act (Sec. 3).
