Vote to pass a bill that requires menstrual products packaging have ingredients list labels.

Highlights:

• Requires that after 18 months of this act becoming effective, all menstrual product packaging sold in the state contain a plain and conspicuously printed lists of all the ingredients ordered by prominence (Sec. 1).  

• Defines “ingredient” as an intentionally added substance present in the menstrual product (Sec. 1).

• Defines “menstrual product” as disposable or reusable products used for the purpose of catching menstruation and vaginal discharge, including, but not limited to (Sec. 1):

• Tampons;

• Pads; and

• Menstrual cups.
