Vote to adopt a conference report that establishes fines and penalties for individuals using force, intimidation, or physical obstruction to prevent access by a person who works at or is seeking to use pregnancy or abortion-related services or a place of worship.

Highlights:

• Up to one year imprisonment and/or a fine for the individual's first offense.

• Up to three years imprisonment and/or a fine for each additional offense.

• Up to ten years imprisonment if the individual's actions resulted in injury to another individual.

• Up to life imprisonment if the individual's actions resulted in a death to another individual.

• Sets the following fines and penalties if the individual's actions were nonviolent:
• Up to six months imprisonment and/or a fine of $10,000 for the individual's first offense.
