Title: Opposing the decision to end certain United States efforts to prevent Turkish military operations against Syrian Kurdish forces in Northeast Syria
Vote to pass a House joint resolution that expresses opposition to the end of US efforts preventing Turkish military operations against Syrian Kurdish forces in Syria.
Expresses the following beliefs on behalf of the United States Congress:
Opposes the decision to end certain US efforts to prevent Turkish military operations against Syrian Kurdish forces in Syria;
Requests that Turkish President Erdogan immediately cease unilateral military action in Syria and to respect existing agreements relating to Syria;
Requests that the US continue to support Syrian Kurdish communities through humanitarian support, including those displaced by ongoing violence in Syria;
Requests that the US work to ensure that the Turkish military acts with restraint and respects existing agreements relating to Syria; and
Requests that the White House present a clear and specific plan for the enduring defeat of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
