  • Requires the ICC to provide the General Assembly with a copy of their decommissioning status report for shutdown units, as submitted by the owner or operator of a nuclear power plant within the state to the previous commissions, every two years beginning June 1, 2020 (Sec. 5). 

  • Defines “decommissioning” as the series of activities that occur when a nuclear power plant is retired to ensure the shutdown is in compliance with federal and state law and that the plant creates no concern for public safety or health (Sec. 5).
