Vote to pass a bill that authorizes Medi-Cal benefits to undocumented immigrants over the age of 19.

Highlights:

• Authorizes individuals with unsatisfactory immigration statuses or who are not able to have satisfactory immigration statuses will have full eligibility for Medi-Cal benefits if they already meet the other requirements of eligibility (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that individuals can keep their primary care provider as their assigned primary care provider in the Medi-Cal managed care health plan’s provider network with no disruption as long as the provider is a contracted in-network provider within that Medi-Cal managed care health plan (Sec. 1).

• Requires the Department of Health Care Services to seek any necessary federal approval for federal financial support in implementing this act (Sec. 1).
