Title: Prohibits Labeling of "Milk" or "Meat" if Product is not Animal Derived
Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the labeling of a "milk" or "meat" product if said product is not derived from an animal.
Prohibits a person from labeling a product as “milk” or “milk product” if the product is made from plants or is grown in a laboratory, and instead must be labeled as “fake milk,” “alternative milk,” or another comparable qualifier (Sec. 1).
Prohibits a person from labeling a product as “meat” or “meat product” if the product is made from plants or grown in a laboratory, and instead must be labeled as “fake meat,” “alternative meat,” or another comparable qualifier (Sec. 3).
Prohibits a person from labeling a product as “poultry” or “poultry product” if the product is made from plants or grown in a laboratory, and instead must be labeled as “fake poultry,” “alternative poultry,” or another comparable qualifier (Sec. 4).
