Vote to pass a bill that requires inclusive education on histories, contributions and perspectives of certain classifications of individuals.

Requires the State Board of Education to uphold academic content standards for history, geography, economics, and civics by including instruction on the histories, contributions, and perspectives of individuals who (Sec. 1):

Are Native Americans;

Are of African, Asian, Pacific Island, Chicano, Latino or Middle Eastern descent;

Are women;
-
Have disabilities;
-
Are immigrants or refugees; or
-
Are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender.

Requires the State Board of Education to review, adopt, and or revise academic content standards so that they comply with the standards outlined in the previous highlight no later than September 30, 2024 (Sec. 2).

Requires the amendments in section one become operative on September 30, 2026 (Sec. 2).
