Vote to pass a House resolution that finds the United States Attorney General William Barr and US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross in contempt of Congress for failing to comply with congressional subpoenas requesting them to appear for deposition testimony before the House Oversight and Reform Committee in April of 2019.

Highlights:

• Requires the Speaker of the House to take all appropriate action to enforce the issued subpoenas.

• Requires the Chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee to take all necessary steps to enforce the issued subpoenas, including but not limited to the following: 

• Seeking authorization for the House of Representatives through a vote of the Bipartisan Legal Advisory Group to initiate or intervene in proceedings in any federal court of competent jurisdiction; 

• Seeking judgements affirming the duty of the subpoena recipients to comply with the subpoenas; and 

• Seeking any appropriate ancillary relief, including injunctive relief.
