Highlights:

• Defines “Chief Administrator” as the Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (Sec. 2).

• Defines “Restricted use driver’s license endorsement” as license issued to a person whose license has been suspended or revoked which authorizes the individual to operate a motor vehicle from their home to the following locations, including (Sec. 3):

• Their place of employment;

• An accredited educational institution;

• A mandated treatment program;

• A healthcare facility; or

• A child care facility.

• Authorizes individuals whose driver’s license has been suspended or revoked to apply to the chief administrator for a restricted driver’s license endorsement (Sec. 3).

• Specifies that the chief administrator may impose a fee for a restricted driver’s license endorsement fee of not more than $25 (Sec. 3).
