Highlights:

• Amends previous law that prohibits any person convicted of certain crimes from having weapons or ammunition, to now include the following criminal convictions (Sec. 1):

• Carjacking;

• Gang criminality;

• Racketeering; 

• Terroristic threats;

• Unlawful possession of a machine gun;

• Unlawful possession of a handgun;

• Unlawful possession of an assault firearm; and

• Leading firearm trafficking networks.
