• Requires a restaurant offering children’s meals include a beverage option of the following, including (Sec. 2):

• Water, sparking water, or flavored water that has no added sugar or artificial sweeteners;

• Flavored or unflavored milk in a serving of 8 ounces or less; or

• 100 percent fruit or vegetable juice in a serving of 8 ounces or less.

• Specifies that nothing in this act shall prohibit restaurants from selling an alternative to the default water, milk, or juice beverages to the purchaser of the children’s meal (Sec. 2).
