Vote to pass a bill that limits the amount of local government regulation on 5G technology.

Highlights:

• Prohibits anything in this act from imposing setback requirements related to the placement of a mobile service support structures that apply to new construction or substantial modifications to facilities and support structures (Sec. 1).

• Specifies that nothing in this act shall require applications, permits, fees, or any other approval for any of the following 5G related services, including (Sec. 2):

• Routine maintenance;

• The replacement of a small wireless facility with a small wireless facility;

• The installation, placement, maintenance, operation, or replacement of micro wireless facilities strung on cables between utility poles.
