Title: Increases The State Minimum Wage
Vote to pass a bill that increases the minimum wage to $11 or $12 dollars, dependent on whether the employer provides health insurance.
Requires all employers in the state of Nevada that do not offer health benefits to pay the following wages to their employees (Sec. 1.5):
$8.25 beginning July 1, 2019;
$9.00 beginning July 1, 2020;
$9.75 beginning July 1, 2021;
$10.50 beginning July 1, 2022;
$11.25 beginning July 1, 2023; and
$12.00 beginning July 1, 2024.
Requires all employers in the state of Nevada that do offer health benefits to pay the following wages to their employees (Sec. 1.5):
$7.25 beginning July 1, 2019;
$8.00 beginning July 1, 2020;
$8.75 beginning July 1, 2021;
$9.50 beginning July 1, 2022;
$10.25 beginning July 1, 2023; and
$11.00 beginning July 1, 2024.
