Vote to pass a bill that requires physicians inform individuals seeking an abortion about potential abortion reversal drugs.

Highlights:

• Authorizes that induced abortions may be performed under the following conditions, including, but not limited to (Sec. 3):

• The pregnancy was the result of rape or incest;

• Economic reasons;

• The pregnant individual does not want children or another child at this time;

• Pregnant individuals emotional or physical health is at stake;

• The pregnancy results in fetal anomalies; and

• The reason is unknown or the pregnant individual refuses to provide one.

• Requires licensed physicians inform a pregnant individual seeking an abortion from mifepristone, misoprostol or a combination of abortion inducing drugs that the procedure may be reversed if the individual changes their mind after ingesting the first drug in the two-step procedure, and that “time is of the essence” (Sec. 5).

• Authorizes the state Department of Health to publish annual demographic summaries documenting the number of induced abortions performed in the state, that will ensure patient anonymity in every way (Sec. 4).
