  • Authorizes a child who is not immunized as required under the law for reasons other than a medical diagnosis to attend online educational courses (Sec. 2).

  • Prohibits a child who is not immunized as required under the law from attending any in person class, event or meeting and specifies certain medical vaccination exemptions (Sec. 2).

  • Defines “restricable diseases” as the following, including, but not limited to (Sec. 4):

    • Tetanus or polio;

    • Measles or mumps;

    • Diphtheria, pertussis, or rubella; or

  • Specifies that all students in grades Kindergarten through grade 12 to submit to school administrators a record file documenting that they have received immunizations against restrictable diseases (Sec. 8).

  • Authorizes students who are not immunized and have not provided to the school administrator written documentation on their immunization exemptions to attend school until August 1 2020 (Sec. 14).

  • Establishes that this act shall go into effect immediately upon passage (Sec. 17).
