Vote to pass a bill to establish a Health and Human Services budget for the 2019-2020 fiscal year.

Highlights:

• Prohibits any state or local government unit or tax-supported district to provide for sex reassignment surgery or any other cosmetic, reconstructive, or plastic surgery procedure (Sec. 93).

• Prohibits funds appropriated to the medical assistance program from being used for abortions (Sec. 13).

• Appropriates $19.36 million to the Children’s Health Insurance Programs (Sec. 16).

• Appropriates $1.93 million for pregnancy prevention grants on the condition that family planning services are funded (Sec. 7).
