Vote to pass a bill that authorizes gaming licenses to be issued for two casinos.

Highlights:

• Authorizes a gaming license fee of $40 million for the operation of a category 1 license and a gaming license fee of $20 million for the operation of a category 2 license to be paid to the gaming regulatory fund within 30 days of the award of a license (Ch. 284-B).

• Authorizes category 1 licenses to control and operate the following, including (Ch. 284-B):

• between 80 and 160 tables where table games are played;

• 2,000 and 3,500 video lottery machines; and

• The operation of sports pools and online sports pools on the premise.

• Authorizes category 2 licenses to control and operate the following, including (Ch. 284-B):

• between 25 and 80 tables where table games are played;

• 750 and 1,500 video lottery machines; and

• The operation of sports pools and online sports pools on the premise.

• Specifies that no casino shall hold both a category 1 and category 2 license (Ch. 284-B).
