Highlights:

• Authorizes 2 individuals desiring to marry each other to submit the affidavits, forms, and data for recording with the office of the probate judge (Sec. 1).

• Establishes, using the recording of the affidavits, forms and data, legal recognition of the marriage as of the data the affidavits and forms were properly signed by the two parties so long as such documentation was provided to the probate office within 30 days of the signatures of the parties (Sec. 1).

• Requires the office of the judge of probate to permanently record each marriage present to the probate office for filing so long as the affidavits, forms, and data are submitted as required (Sec. 1).
