Title: Authorizes Restrictions on Public-Sector Unions and Reduces Civil Service Law Coverage
Vote to pass a bill that reduces most state workers from the state's merit-system law and places additional restrictions on public-sector unions.
Authorizes an employee to be discharged for any reason not prohibited by law (Sec. 1).
Defines the term “employee” as someone working more than 32 hours a week (Sec. 1).
Requires all examinations for program-eligibility to be accessible to persons with disabilities (Sec. 1).
