Title: Amend State Riverboat Gaming Laws

  • Requires the quarterly reporting of professional services and employment information by a holder of a license to the Louisiana Gaming Control Board, Senate Committee on Judiciary B, and the House Committee on the Administration of Criminal Justice to include the following (Sec. 1):

    • The report required by R.S.27:21.1 and a specification as to whether an entity is a Louisiana business, a female-owned business, or a minority-owned business; and

    • A report of the demographic information of their workforce.

  • Specifies that all quarterly reports be submitted by certified mail no later than 20 days after the end of each quarter (Sec. 1).

  • Specifies that license holders are limited to holding no more than 4 tournaments a year, with each tournament lasting no more than fourteen days (Sec. 1).

  • Authorizes licensees to submit an application to the Louisiana Gaming Control Board for the purposes of relocating its gaming operations to a facility that remains within 1200 feet of the riverboats licensed berth (Sec. 1).
