A vote to pass a bill that expands state aid for higher education to undocumented children.

Highlights:

• Establishes a fund commission committed to the educational opportunities of immigrants’ children to raise funds in order to create and raise awareness about scholarships, training programs, and other educational opportunities (Sec. 1).

• Requires that the commission shall be composed of 12 members that will be appointed as follows, including, but not limited to (Sec. 1):

• 4 members appointed by the Governor;

• 3 members appointed by the temporary President of the Senate;

• 3 members appointed by the Speaker of the Assembly; and
