Title: Extends Funding for Statewide Trauma System
Vote to pass a bill that extends funding for the Statewide Trauma System.
Specifies that the crime victim’s rights fund is created as a separate fund in the state treasury (Sec. 4).
Appropriates $3.5 million for crime victim compensation to establish, maintain, and provide a support staff for a statewide trauma system (Sec. 4).
Specifies that beginning on October 1, 2021 the amount expended and appropriated to the statewide trauma system shall not exceed 50 percent of the maximum allocation amount (Sec. 4).
Specifies that this law shall take effect 90 days after the enactment date of this bill (Sec. 4).
